100% PEFC certified, available for products that contain 100% material from PEFC-certified forests that has been physically separated from any non-certified wood. The chain of custody establishes the link from the forest to the market, tracking forest-based material from sustainable sources to the final product.

Each complete order (and subsequent ones) will have exactly the same identical size for all sheets supplied.

All our Birch plywood is laser cut and lightly sanded on each face, this has the benefit of consistent accurate dimensions over saw cutting methods, as well as the cut edges are sealed by the heat of the laser, meaning there are no frayed or damaged edges resulting in a safer product.

To cut even the thinnest wood we have here, the 1.5mm, we use a 100W laser at 60% power at 30mm per second speed. This cuts through in one go which is the best way to do it. If you have a lower powered laser and are perhaps used to 4 cuts in the same place on 1.5mm plywood then this wood is not going to cut correctly and burn instead. If you are worried please just ask for a sample before you buy and you can test it on your laser cutter. If you need any advice just ask!

Select the pack size you require either metric or imperial from the drop down menu above.

*All sizes are subject to a tolerance of +/- 0.4mm on thickness and +/- 1% on length and width measurements.

This type of birch plywood is BB/BB grade. Ideal for craft and model making.

Please note.  Birch plywood is a natural product and the construction of birch plywood can cause stresses that can cause mild warp and bending, High levels of moisture can make the bend and twist more pronounced.  The wood on sale here has been stored in controlled conditions for 30 days minimum prior to dispatch. on receipt storing in a warm environment and with a heavy weight or heavy board on top will reduce warping but some warp and bend is to be expected especially on the thinner sheets.
