This is a very vintage
and elegant Retro Style Cloisonne Enamel leaf and flower design ring. The red gem
stone in the flower is natural red agate(also called as “Nanhong”) which is
a kind of precious gem stone because of its natural thick red color. The
material is Solid Sterling Silver(92.5% silver) with white gold coated!.
About the
Cloisonne Enamel craft, it needs very complex production steps and its outstanding
step is “Burnt blue” (about 800-1000’C). There are some very low-priced imitation cloisonne products in
the market, but in fact, they are NOT cloisonne! They are Drip or silicone
crafts. These imitation products always use Alloy as the base and their
color can’t stand high temperature.
They were made at the normal room temperature. Someone maybe will say that
we can call it as “cool Cloisonne”. That is absolutely wrong! Cloisonne has
a history of more than 2000 years. Because of its unique and complex
craftsmanship, cloisonne is so beautiful. Using high temperature to burn
the blue to make the color beautiful and lasting long is important, there
is never any low temperature cloisonne! I don’t think this imitation
product can be called as “Cloisonne”. This would make the customers
mis-understand correct “Cloisonne”!
The item looks not
bright(that is NOT old) because it is a kind of retro cloisonne Enamel
process. Because silver is easy to be oxidized, this kind of retro
cloisonne Enamel process can avoid the effect of oxidation, so that the
silver product won't be changed so much even some years later.
About the
photos: The photos were taken by myself
in my working office or our yard without any photo enhance. I prefer to
bring surprise to my customers, so, always, my photos are not so bright and
the products are always much nicer than our photos. So, I can
assure that the product is much nicer than the pictures! If customers
