In October 2012 Francesco Guccini records his latest album "Ultima Thule", with "the musicians of all time" in the Chicòn mill in Pàvana, on the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines. The recording of the disc at the mill is for Guccini a return to the mythical place of his childhood, a return to his roots and memory. A musical and human experience that sees the eight songs of the disc grow in that place, day after day. The film is the story of this adventure.
