This map shows the confluence of the rivers Rhine and Mosel at Koblenz. The region was o great strategic  importance and castles and bastions had been built including both the Citadel of Ehrenbreistein  and Fort Alexander.
The map was executed by the British military and shows the fortifications as well as the surrounding countryside.

SIZE:  8.5" x 7"   (22 x 17 cm)

CONDITION:  Excellent condition perfectly preserved in the archives.

AN HISTORIC REPLICA OF THE ORIGINAL MAP  PRODUCED TWENTY YEARS AGO WHEN THE TOPOGRAPHY OF CARTOGRAPHY WAS BEING COMPILED  PROFESSIONALLY MOUNTED BUT NOT FRAMED
