Hygrophila Difformis - submerged or emersed
1 bunch - 5 stems (10-20cm)

Hygrophila Difformis is a very popular, easy aquarium stem plant. Stems becomes 15-30+ cm tall. With frequent trimming will stay low and compact. It grows well under medium lighting however stronger lighting, CO2 injection and good nutrient supply will promote stronger and healthier growth. Under low lighting, especially lower leaves, might turn yellow. Wisteria absorbs a great number of nutrients from the water. The shortage of nutrients leads to pale leaves. The plant can be cultivated in submerged or emersed form. Its emersed leaves look like strawberry or nettle leaves. They are featuring a roughly 4 cm oval shape, grooved veins, and slightly jagged edges. Submerged leaves are  thinner, narrower, feathery and more delicate in appearance. Once planted in the tank plant will go through transition period changing shape of the leaves.
