A very rare souvenir model brooch of the Aviation Building from the New York World's Fair held in New York in 1939. This model is made from metal & marked on the back Marine Building NYWF 1939.  I am not sure why it says Marine Building rather than Aviation building, but during that time a lot of the airplanes flying around the world were seaplanes as a lot of under developed countries had not yet built airports. Very good casting, a lot of detail, good condition, but some paint chips to the blue & some tarnish to the gold plating.
