This is five original vintage silver print photographs -- beautiful images captured in the Niger Republic and Algeria by Victor Englebert.

Victor Englebert (1933-2015) was a photographer and author who traveled the world, documenting the lives, customs, and environments of more than thirty indigenous peoples in Africa, South America, and Asia, as well as those of others living beyond the modern world. He was the sole photographer of seventeen photo books, of which he was the author of seven, including award-winning Wind, Sand and Silence: Travels with Africa’s Last Nomads (Chronicle Books), Aborigines of the Rain Forest: the Yanomami (Time-Life Books), five children’s books, and nine self-published photo books. His stories have been published in National Geographic (9 times), The Smithsonian, International Wildlife, Natural History, Paris Match, The Sunday Times of London, Archaeology, German and French editions of Geo, and others.

All five of the photos measure approximately 7.5" x 9.5" and have the photographer's credit stamp, a Photo Researchers agency label, and a brief caption on their versos.
