The 31639 Little Giant Ladder Palm Button Hinge Lock Assembly Kit is a very popular replacement part for Velocity, Leveler, Megalite, Multi, Dark Horse 2.0 (green fiberglass) and LT Little Giant Ladders. The main difference between this and similar part number 20157/31005 is the different palm button assembly. 2" center-to-center measurement on the outer pins. 3/4" diameter center pin. If your Velocity, Leveler, Megalite, Multi, Dark Horse 2.0 (green fiberglass) or LT Little Giant Ladder has an EXTERNAL spring on the hinge that is clearly visible then this is likely the hinge lock you'll need. Part number 31639. Also interchangeable with Leveler part # 31801.
This genuine Little Giant Palm Button Hinge Lock Assembly Kit comes with the following items:
- Hinge Lock Assembly
- Steel barrel (fits on hinge lock shaft as shown in pictures)
- Orange plastic Palm Button, with black snap-in insert
- External spring
- 2 washers
- Large snap ring
- Small snap ring
Not compatible with any competitors ladder. Not compatible with most aluminum Type 1A, Type 1AA and some models of Fiberglass Little Giant Ladders.
