I'm so thrilled to offer this Bracelet featuring a Centerpiece with the UNIVERSITY OF MARYLAND Seal.  Inside the Bracelet is a neat clue: A Patent Number.  A little digging with the U.S. Patent Office shows this piece dates to 1933.  The Bracelet opens at the decorated buckle.  A little squeeze on the sides of the Bracelet loosens the notch of the buckle and as you can see in the pictures below, the buckle flips up to an opening for your wrist. Very neat! No wonder it was Patented!

The Bracelet is in Excellent Antique Condition.  The photos shown are extremeley close up in full light so any slight imperfections are maximized.  

 A fantastic find! (The last couple of pics show a University of Maryland pendant necklace which I have in a separate listing which would make a great pairing.  It also dates to the Art Deco period)

Measurements:

The  Bangle measures 1" Wide at the Widest Point..and 6 and 1/2" against the inside of the bracelet.

The opening hinge of the Bangle is 1 and 3/8" for the wrist to be slipped into the bracelet.
