Hookah Stem Quality - Exterior Finish
Khalil Mamoon Hookah stems are made by master artisans who pay close attention to detail in order to provide you with a product that smokes great, is easy to maintain, and lasts a good length of time. Khalil Mamoon Hookahs are not machine made and are instead hand made by Hookah experts who bend, shape, hand tap, and design the metal work out of flat sheets of steel using hand tools just like the way a traditional shoemaker constructs shoes. That is why Khalil Mamoon Hookahs are some of the most authentic, durable, and beautiful Hookah being made in Egypt to date.
As a result of this hand made vs. machine made process, a perfectly finished Hookah stem is non-existent. It is normal to see scuffs, weld marks, dents, and scratches on the stem which may occur from bending the metal. If you are looking for a Hookah with a perfect machine crafted finish, Khalil Mamoon Hookahs are not for you. It is recommended that you consider a Mya or other Chinese Hookah that features a machine made look instead.
Hookah Stem Quality - Interior Finish
Khalil Mamoon Hookahs are made in the heart of Egypt where sand and dust surrounds the factories and bazaars, so it is normal for the interior of the stem to accumulate some dirt in the manufacturing process. It is highly recommended that you rinse and scrub the interior of your Hookah before use as this should get rid of any dust, grime, or sand which may have settled on the interior of the stem.
Hookah Vase Quality - Finish and Design
Khalil Mamoon Glass Vases are all hand painted and therefore no two vases will look the same. There may be small inconsistencies in the applied design since Khalil Mamoon Glass Vases are not applied through silkscreen or heat transfer methods but are instead painted by hand with a brush. Khalil Mamoon Glass Vases may also contain minor scratches, marks, air bubbles, or imperfections in the glass work which occur with such handcrafted pieces of art. Not all Khalil Mamoon Glass Vases will contain the Khalil Mamoon stamp or brand name on the vase which is consistent with such handcrafted pieces of art.
- Khalil Mamoon Shishas are handmade, therefore there maybe some slight imperfections on the stems, bowl and base, such as welding parts on some stems, minor dents, parts of bowl unpainted at bottom, minor chips on glass base at the top, and small chips to flavor bowls. this is all normal. some stems also may sound like they are broken when shaken. this is due to holes being punched into the stem and this causes metal to float around inside. again this is normal and is usually the case with every 4-5 out of 10 shishas. khalil mamoon cafe style shisha come in boxes, to make the box fit it may be cut in some places making it unusable. this is done to protect the shisha from breaking. stems may also have slight marks and scratches. km shishas must always be washed before 1st use.
