Necchi Millepunti DF4 Overlocker

The Millepunti DF4 by Necchi is a simple, basic overlocker that can overlock with 3 or 4 threads, 2-needles trim fabric and edge as it goes. What more do you need? Yes, it also has differential feed and sleeve arm. Don't let the budget price put you off, the DF4 offers very good value for money.

Get started straight out from the box, the Necchi Millepunti DF4 comes ready threaded with four white thread cones.

The DF4 uses a high power motor at 90 watts.

Lay in threading tensions, follow the colours to thread each thread through two loopers and either one or two needles depending on the overlock stitch you have chosen to sew.

The lower looper has a slot-threading guide to make things quicker. Remove the sleeve arm bed to allow tubular items to be stitched, then remove a unique lower looper cover (just a simple lever release) giving superb viewing and threading access to that looper.

The DF4 switches to rolled hems without changing the needle plate.

Stitch options up to 5.7mm wide, with length adjustment up to 5mm.

• 4 thread overlock 
• 3 thread narrow overlock 
• 3 thread rolled hem
• 3 thread wide overlock

Of course you can set the differential feed to gather or stop fabric stretching whilst overlocking. Adjustment is easy by dial with the ratio from 0.05 to 2.25. The DF4 Overlockers upper fabric cutting knife can be positioned to give a no-trimming option.
