97-1576 front mudguard  stainless steel for pre oif 1963-67 , razor edge at the rear and front end

not drilled , clever: for perfect fit or any stays .. you can drill the holes where you need them !

this shape is original with the razor edges as used 1963-67, but it fits all years 1963-70, the 63-70 earlier version had a razor edge , 68-70 late version rolled edge , all versions could fit all years

these mudguard in stainless had been optional to painted or genuine on USA bikes - It is a lot of money but when you have a welded not good original one and need repair plus colour (2 colour and lining) this is more money . these you can just buy & drill thats it , you want to change the tank colour - no need to paint the mudguards , you have old colour on the tank still nice- you dont have to find the same looking paint and try to make the patina on the new painted guards to get the same look as the tank.... normaly the stainless version is at the end cheaper and faster

97-1576 Vorderrad kotflügel wie 1963-67 verbaut, 500 und  650ccm Triumph passt aber an alle1963-70 modelle ,

Edelstahl poliert sehr gute qualität in England gefertigt absolut original getreu , kein indien oder fernost teil.

endlich mal nachgedacht : der kotflügel ist ungebohrt also alle befestigungslöcher für streben sind möglich und sie können die löcher selbst bohren so das alles gut und spannungsfrei passt.

triumph nummer 97-1576  H1576 ,
der hinterradkotflügel dazu passend hat die nummer 82-6967.

1963-67 gab es eine scharfe kante an den enden der kotflügel  - im englischen hies das Razor edge (~rasiermesser scharfe kante)

die version 1968-70 hat eine umgebörtelte kante an den enden , daher heist diese version im englischen rolled edge,

diese gebördelte kanten version 82-8144 hinten und vorne 97-2276 war 1968-70 , die scharfe kante 1963-67 hat hinten 82-6967 und vorn 97-1576 als ersatzteilnummer.

ansonsten sind ausser wegen der originalität diese versionen kompatibel , der unterschied ist nur die kante hinten

auch wenn die edelstahl version die es optional bzw bei USA manchmal serienmässig gab erst mal teuer erscheint ist eine 2 ton lackierung mit linierung viel teurer, man kauft 2 neue V2A kotflügel bohrt die so das sie zentrisch spannungsfrei sitzen und ist fertig - günstiger als eingerissene 3 mal geschweisste alte kotflügel reparieren und lackieren zu lassen. falls sie mal den Tank in anderer farbe lackieren können die kotflügel so bleiben, falls sie einen tank mit patina und guter lackierung haben müssen sie nicht den Lackton für die kotflügel finden , die edelstahlversion ist die einfachere und auch meist günstigere version beim restaurieren.
