BRACKET TYPE: tell us which type, (J,L,C or CL) when you purchase.
What type of brackets do you need? See last photo.
they ALL make the ladder stand up. ;o)
You want Js if the ladder extends ABOVE the loft (when fully pulled out)
You want Ls if the ladder is BELOW the loft (when fully pulled out)
You want either C or CL (same as above only NOT easily removable).
How to figure Bracket Length of travel:
1. Pull your ladder out to the preferred angle, and (make a mark on the loft edge if the ladder DOES NOT extend past the loft for "L" Type brackets or) make a mark on the back of the ladder...
2. Then hold your ladder straight up and measure the difference.
3. We will add three inches to that measurement to be SAFE! ;o)
BAR Width:
You can tell us just the width you want --->
1. Just the bar width. We will add the fittings to that (about 4.25 inches). Or...
2. Tell us the total END-to-END measurements, Or...
3. If you need to hit a stud, tell us STUD-to-STUD width.
