AS IS Sony Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm f/4 E-mount ZA OSS Zoom lens for Parts or Repair 

You are bidding on a broken Sony Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar T* E 16-70mm f/4 ZA OSS Zoom lens (SEL1670F4Z) along with a full set of brand new exterior metal cover parts.  This lens was my favorite 24-105 replacement, so much so that I've got an extra set of exterior metal replacement parts that in the end I don't need.  I've upgraded the full frame (camera not included in this auction) and this lens has gone bad while sitting.  Took it out for a weekend trip and have noticed strange behavior as if the OSS didn't work, when zoomed in, however this has gotten progressively worse during that day.  Now the lens focuses fine in 16mm setting and performs a strange wobble multiple times when zoomed in after the wobble it just gives up and shows an f-- error.  Camera shown for testing purposes, not included.  Lens only, comes with an ill-fitting (replacement) rear cover and the following factory new parts:

-Focus Ring: X-2587-176-1 NEW
-Rear Ring: X-2587-178-1 NEW (without Zeiss logo)
-Lock Pin: 4-452-410-01 NEW
