This is our most popular grist size and is widely used in the manufacture of sausages, pies and other compound meat products. It is also used for dried stuffing mixes.

Different grades and blends are used depending on the appearance, texture and speed of absorption required for the finished product. This is our most popular pinhead rusk, we have other grades available.

Hydration Ratio: 1 part rusk to 2 parts water.
