Important Information
* All pictures shown are reference of what can be achieved with the dyes.
* Candle making dye flakes are paraffin based. Just add to candle wax at a ratio of 1g of dye to 100g of wax; the melting point of the dye is 65°C.
* For a deeper colour add more dye.
* For a lighter pastel colour  (soy wax or blend ) add less dye.
* All the dyes can be mixed with one another, to create your own unique colour.

How To Use - Candle Wax Dye
Just add to candle wax at a ratio of 1g of dye to 100g for Paraffin or Soy wax .Each 1g of dye will colour 100g of wax, just drop the candle dye into your melted wax and stir well for a few minutes. You can alter the amount of dye used to change the shade of the colour but if you use less than 1g of dye to 100g of wax the UV light inhibitors become less effective and the colour is likely to fade in strong light

The dye in Inpex candle dye flakes have been laboratory tested for burning behaviour, light fastness, the effects of use in different wax compounds, and chemical reactions with fragrances. Stir well and test a drop on a cold, white saucer for the true colour it will be when cooled.

Please note when used with soya wax it will result in a pastel opaque coloured candle. This is just the nature of soya wax. Should you require a more intense coloured candle then we suggest you either add a greater percentage of dye to the soya wax or possibly using a different wax (e.g. paraffin wax/ White Beeswax).

* PLEASE NOTE - If a colour shown in our selected mix is out of stock we will replace with the nearest colour dye - e.g. Meadow Green would be replaced with one of the following Evergreen, Olive Green, Pastel Green etc. Please be aware of this before purchasing.
