This is a superb example of high Danish Modern furniture design, from one of its most famous and most accomplished practitioners, Kai Krisitiansen. It is absolutely extraordinary and exemplifies Danish furniture designer Kai Kristiansen's complete mastery of his craft. The 'flow' on this Kai Kristiansen chair is aircraft. The front seat bracket is concave, allowing the curved wooden seat frame to nestle tightly down upon it, allowing a human form to enter and rest comfortably once seated in the chair. Finished in piano black. This chair by Danish designer Kai Kristiansen is before the era of mass-production and from before Danish Modern furniture was so internationally coveted and imported the world over. This was from the time when it was unspoiled and still maintained its status of design 'vanguard. This chair will last a lifetime.
