Vintage Bavarian or Danish? Men's Traditional Leather Decorative Jacket - SELLING AS IS

This jacket came from the estate of an elderly friend of mine, who great-grandfather emigrated to the US from Denmark in the late 1800s. I suspect that the jacket comes from Denmark, but clothing experts have suggested that it's Bavarian. I can't be sure. The jacket belonged either to my friend's great-grandfather or grandfather.

Shoulder to hem: 26"
Chest: 44"
Sleeve: 23 1/2"

The material is very heavy and looks and feels like suede leather. The green trim on the pockets and collar is definitely leather.
The buttons look like wood.
Has 2 interior chest pockets.
The lining feels like a heavy brushed cotton.
The jacket weighs 3 pounds and 6 ounces.

The jacket has many tiny little faint black spots on the sleeves and a couple of more noticeable spots elsewhere on the jacket.
I don't see any loose threads or tears.
