SMALL VINTAGE CHIANTI CANTINE MONTELONTI LUIGI RASPOLLINI ITALY WOODEN BARREL 8.5" TALL

This is a small vintage wooden barrel with copper colored bands around it. The barrel used to hold Chianti but it is EMPTY now. I believe this barrel dates to the 1960's. Barrel has a wooden spigot in the front and a label on one side. Label has been taped on the side and has some damage also. This is the way we bought it. It shows that this was Chianti Cantine Montelonti Proprieta Luigi Raspollini. Please see pictures for design and condition detail. Measures 8.5" by 5" in diameter at the tops by about 6" in diameter in the middle. Weighs over 2.5 lbs. Wonderful vintage wooden barrel would be a great display piece. Don't miss it.
