This is a nicely made Shaker-Style Pantry Box measuring 9 1/2" x 7 1/4." The box is clean and sound and actually quite sturdy. The outside is painted a dark choclate brown; 2 coats; 3 coats of satin sealer. The top has a Hand-Painted Cedar Waxwing, one of the birds we see quite often when we visit Maine. I left the inside natural wood.
