Schreiber is one of the most respected German Bassoon Manufacturers.

Their instruments are characterised by a warmth and fullness of sound and by the freedom offered the player to express his/her musicality.

Schreiber made instruments for a number of companies and Conn was one of them.

This Conn Bassoon is perfect for the advancing serious player with extreme dynamic possibilities and great subtlety allowing the player wide lattitude to express his/her musical thoughts.

This Conn Bassoon has signs of external wood damage (normal, in my experience, with bassoon players that are a bit careless with assembly of their instruments) but it has certainly not been misused. We have meticulously re-padded it using Pisoni DeLuxe White Leather pads. All the corks and felts have been replaced.
