This is a one AVDP ounce .999 fine copper round from Golden State Mint.  This Saint-Gaudens Lady Liberty will go nicely in your collection.  Bars are uncirculated from the original mint tube.  Pictures are typical of the bar you will receive.  You get one bar per order.

In 1905, President Theodore Roosevelt reached out personally to artist and sculptor Augustus Saint-Gaudens for help in redesigning all of Americas currency. At this point in history, American coin designs in use dated back to 1895 or before, and President Roosevelt wanted all of the nations currency updated.

Saint-Gaudens accepted the presidents commission and created the depiction of Lady Liberty. In his design, Lady Liberty is featured in full-length figure as she strides confidently forward from the nations capital city of Washington DC. With her torch held aloft in her right hand as a guiding light and the olive branch of peace in her left, Lady Libertys body is outlined by the rays of the rising sun behind her.

This particular image of Lady Liberty was finalized in 1907 and featured on the $20 Gold Double Eagle coin from 1907 to 1933. Unfortunately, Saint-Gaudens died in 1907 from illness just months before the US Mint completed production of the coins for release into circulation.

You know you need a couple of these in your collection!
