This is a stunning Proof $2 coin depicting the figure of an 'Aboriginal elder' at left, Southern Cross above, denomination at right, and Grass Tree to the far right.

This particular Coin has been carefully lifted from a '2007 Baby Proof Magic Pudding Coin Set'.

It remains completely untouched in its original protective capsule.

BACKGROUND:

In 2007, the Royal Australian Mint (RAM) released coin sets in the following main formats:

1) '100 years of the Surf Lifesaving' movement in Australia (Proof & Mint Sets)

2) 'Norman Lindsay's Magic Pudding' (Baby Proof & Mint Sets).

3) 'Wedding Set' (Mint Set)

+ Other PNC and Silver editions etc.

Of particular interest, in 2007 the regular $1 Mob of Roos (MOR) coin was NOT produced for circulation and was only made available via some Mint and Proof sets. They are considered rare and highly collectable.

Sent via 'Tracked post' in an envelope / satchel / box (usually via Australia Post).
