They Were Soldiers Indeed by Mort Kunstler

This Framed print by Mort Kunstler is double matted in this very nice heavy gold frame and features a brass name plate. Both the print and frame are in excellent condition.  This item came from the estate sale of an avid Kunstler collector.  This is one of only 2 prints that were not signed and numbered and only because I don't think this has ever been released as a limited edition print.   It measures 22" x 24-3/8" overall with frame.

Please feel free to ask any questions.

Kunster Comments:

The largest and costliest of the Seven Days battles near Richmond was Gaines’ Mill. Lee’s first victory came when the Texas Brigade broke the Federal line but incurred great losses in the process. The next morning, Jackson and Lee surveyed the ground where the Confederates had charged. Jackson exclaimed, “The men who carried this position were soldiers indeed!”
