I bought this new in the late 80's back in the UK, for the youngest, who insisted on growing up quickly and didn't use it much, moving on to the grown-up stuff rather quickly, so it's still in remarkable condition and has traveled around with us since then.
At last realism is taking hold in all sorts of areas in our home and this is now available for someone to add to their collection.
We've searched high and low to identify some history behind this set, but have failed to find any trace of it, so it's a rarity, especially with a two handled cup that isn't a sippy cup with a top.
Material appears to be melamine, with no issues that I could identify.
