An excellent tournament chess set that includes DGT tan and black chess pieces (non electronic and not recognized by electronic boards) boasting a 3.75 inch king. Pieces have wide heavy base, display exquisite workmanship, have felted bottoms and are made in China. There is 32 chessmen (no extra queens but 2 additional queens can be added for a small fee) and the set weigh 28 ounces. The mousepad roll-up board is black and white, is 20 X 20 inches and has algebraic notations. The set comes with a matching red chess clock with a big easy to read display. The clock is simple to set including adding delay or bonus times. The pieces especially, black pieces, might show minor scuffs from rubbing against each other during shipping.
