Why buy a sign from us?

Our mission is to provide a customer focussed service putting quality BEFORE profit.

We aim for speed in manufacture and delivery and consistency of quality and service.

We make signs all day, most days. Not only for our online customers but also for our local customers.

We have many years of experience in the industry and we're happy to talk through your signage requirements and what will work better for you and not for our profit margins.

Here's a few lines about the sign options we're selling here...

Shire Oak Signs & Graphics Ltd all weather signs are made to last.

Mounted on a variety of quality board or solvent print they are suitable for indoor and outdoor applications.
No sticky messes easy to handle and easy to put up on brick, glass, metal, wood in fact anywhere that you need a sign.

We don't use a desk top printer to print our signs, our printer
(going by the name of Big Betty)
is huge, sits on her own stand and prints an eco solvent based ink into micropores of a specially manufactured vinyl
(We have suspicions of an office romance between her and our laminator, yet to be proven I might add)
This means that everything we produce is waterproof and can resist the British weather. So you can be assured your sign will be doing it's job in years to come.

What about those different board types you're flogging (we hear you ask), here's a short run down of what does what...

Waterproof stickers are just that, they are waterproof, can be put up with water, have water thrown at them (aka rain) and even resist frozen water.
Ideal if you've got a hard and flat non-porous surface for it to stick to - not wood or sponges or clothes

3 and 5mm PVC both excellent medium term sign boards.  We only use solid core PVC signs boards. They are light weight and easy to put up but without being too fly-away. These can be drilled then put up with nails/screws/cable ties/bolts etc or glued up or no-more-nailed, blue tacked and sticky padded..ed...ed.  The 5mm in particular is a lot more rigid and is perfect for fences, walls and small posts for up to 10 years.  3mm is slightly more flexible and perfect for indoors long term or outdoors for up to 5 years.

Aluminium Dibond/Comp (Composite) - is the same material used in UK road signs, it's durable, strong and long lasting and can be popped up onto posts with a post fixing kit (we sell them too), also perfect for brick walls, fences and anywhere requiring a sturdy sign.

If you have any questions, please ask us.
Please try to keep questions on the subject of signs though as we don't really know much about anything else.. especially morris dancing. We know literally nothing about it.
