Contains what you need to know to understand and successfully use CMOS (Complementary Metal-Oxide Semiconductor) integrated circuits. Written in a 'cookbook' format that requires little math, this book covers the basics for working with digital logic and many of its end applications. CMOS was the first hassle-free digital logic family. It is very low in cost, is widely available in many different devises from many sources and uses minimum current from non-critical power supplies.

Book is in Very Good used condition, previous owner’s name printed on first page, bookstore sticker on back cover, book is clean inside & out, some minor edge wear & expected light shelf wear, binding remains tight & secure… overall a great book that will serve its new owner for many years to come! Actual user’s Review: The classic book on CMOS Integrated Circuits. NOTE -- This is the original 1978 edition, and while many topics are covered verbatim in later editions, and other products and concepts also covered in the later editions, some of the original contents were also slimmed up or eliminated. Don has a way of making things simple to follow, and his years of writing in Popular Electronics and other electronics magazines of the period are a testament to both his grasp of the early solid state circuits and also his ability to teach about them at a level that did not require extensive background in the field.
