Artists come from all walks of life. In this case, Dave Chapple was a football player, and this allowed him to study taxidermy in the off season. This then led to painting and numerous different styles.

His current painting is of Wood Ducks on the wing in the fall. In typical Chapple fashion the ducks are very precisely rendered.

This print is being sold fresh and crisp in the original folio.
