Looking to get your Specialized full suspension mountain bike operating properly. Does your rear shock feel like a pogo stick? When you turn the brain adjustment knob, do you not notice a difference? Does it not lock out anymore and give you the support for pedaling?

FAQ:

Whats the turn around time?

-Typically 1-2 weeks depending on the time of year and how backed up I am. Sunday, Monday and Tuesday are the days I perform most of the suspension services. Message me and I'll let you know how far behind I am. If you need it for an upcoming race, I can typically accommodate for that.

How does this work & shipping work?

-after you purchase this service on eBay, I'll message you back with an questions or concerns that I may have. If I don't have any, I'll message you with a ra# and a shipping address. After I receive the item in the mail, I message you, and when it's serviced and functioning properly and sent back in the mail I message you with an updated tracking number. YOU PAY FOR THE SHIPPING TO ME AND I PAY FOR IT BACK.

If you are close to Central Wisconsin you can drop it off or the full bike. Message me and I will give you a discount for the return shipping that Is included in the price.

What is performed during this service?

- I have perfected the ability to service all brain rear shocks and brain forks. I have also designed and perfected seal kits for each as well.

A complete disassembly of your shock, thorough cleaning to remove all old shock oil, grease dirt/grime. Every seal and o ring is removed inside your shock, the piston band is replaced, some seals are upgraded to one's that last for the long term. Complete vaccum bleed of all the air inside and replaced with full synthetic suspension oil. Nitrogen inflated the IFP/bladder chamber. Function tested on hand dyno to check all operations: Rebound and brain adjusting unit.

Do you rebuild Specialized Brain Forks as well?

-I rebuild Specialized Rockshox Brain forks as well.

How much do I need to remove in order to send it in?

- please remove the shock in its entirety. Meaning: the rear shock (in the center of the bike) , the hose, and the rear brain adjusting unit (typically near the axle on the bike). Please don't try and remove the hose, please don't try and remove the control knob from the rear brain adjuster. Please put either a zip tie around the bushing spacers on the front and rear of the shock or just remove them before shipping.

Whats the warranty for this service?

-1 year against my workmanship, my materials that I used during the service. If something happens to the shock after service, I learn by figuring out the failure point and the cause of the failure, and with that knowledge I can perform a higher quality service in the future.

How many successful services on Specialized Brains have you performed?

- the spring, summer and fall of 2022 I have performed over 200 successful services on brain shocks and forks. All functioning properly, with some failures along the way that were taken care of and handled properly with warranty.

I have an older brain rear shock, and all the parts are discontinued?

I have purchased 7 brains for spare parts and many fox brains are cross compatible with other fox shocks, I should be able to fix and source most part failures in brains.

I've built my own tools and sourced/ manufactured a full seal kit for the Specialized Rockshox Brain fork and rear shock.

If interested I'd love to chat more and get your scheduled. I can also rebuild fox, rockshox, mrp, x-fusion, and dvo forks and rear shocks. I'm also always up for rebuilding something I have not done before.
