This antique round bent wood Shaker box is a unique addition to any collection. Crafted in the US-Midwest in the late 19th or early 20th century, this primitive box has a medium wood tone and is handcrafted from wood. The box features a diameter of 12.5 inches, making it a small and charming piece of rustic Americana. This Shaker box is in its original condition and is unsigned. The box is perfect for those who love vintage and primitive decor, and it is ideal for use as a storage box or display item. The box's maker is unknown, but its style is Naive and Primitive. Don't miss out on the chance to own this original and handmade piece of American history.

The Shakers originally used the boxes for storing kitchen ingredients and small items and parts for the shop. These were made in the 1800's. I do not know when this one was made.

This box has been in the same family for decades, in New England.

This one is 12.5 inches wide in diameter--on the lid. There were nails used in this one -see pictures. It almost looks like a short small barrel from the inside. The wood work on the bands of wood are quite beautiful.
