Boyd's Bear hand-crafted and hand-accessorized unique collection of 8" plush bears for any occasion. The teddy bear is fully jointed, hand embroidered, and have the look and feel of an antique bear. It was handmade and as such no one piece looks exactly like another thus giving the Boyd's Bear character. Designed in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. This are highly collectible especially the vintage Boyd's Bears and are among the finest teddy bears made in the world.

Boyd's Bears founder, G.M. Lowenthal began his business selling antique reproductions with the look and feel of true antiques at more affordable prices. G.M. added a new line when he found a group of 100% Merino Wool Bears from China. In 1984 he designed fully jointed wool bear and named it after his newborn son, Matthew. This was truly the beginning of Boyds Bears famous plush designs and officially became coined as "Boyds Bears'.
