When grading CDs we use the following distinctions:
MINT: either sealed or with no sign of use, absolutely flawless
NEAR MINT: looks as new, opened but unmarked
EXCELLENT: maybe one or two faint scuffs, used but well-cared for, plays perfectly
VERY GOOD: a few light marks and faint scuffs, still plays perfectly
GOOD: scuffing and minor marks, still plays all the way through without skipping
POOR: totally munted, we don’t sell anything in this condition
