There are a few things you need to check before purchasing any vertical-shaft engine to ensure it fits your mower.
Bolt Pattern:
Our engine has a Briggs & Stratton bolt pattern. You can view a schematic of the bolt pattern in our thumbnail pictures. If you have a Briggs engine then the bolt pattern will be a perfect match. All four mounting bolt holes are M10 x 1.25x 70 (bolts not included)
Output Shaft Size:
The output shaft on our engine is 1” (25.4mm). Almost all ride-on-mower engines with a HP rating above will have a 1” shaft. The thread pitch for the output shaft is 7/16 20 UNF -2B.
Physical Size of Engine:
If your mower has only a limited amount of space for the engine to fit into then you will need to check the physical dimensions of our engine before purchasing.
