The Made in Japan Traditional series is the result of combining Fender's traditional instrument-making aesthetic with refined Japanese craftsmanship. The authentic Fender DNA is brought back to life with solid Made in Japan quality.
The Made in Japan Traditional 60s Jazzmaster features a gloss-finish basswood body with 21 vintage-style frets and a 9.5" radius "U" shape maple neck. The 9.5" radius "U" shaped maple neck with 21 vintage style frets provides the classic playing characteristics of the Traditional Series. A six-saddle vintage-style bridge with floating tremolo tailpiece and the original pickups selected for the Traditional Series produce a realistic and musical vintage tone. The narrow nut width is designed to be easy to play for Japanese players. Solid guitar craftsmanship and flexible answers to players' needs are reflected in this series.
