Map update is available via the Naviextra's website for adding additional features and updating map regions. The iPlug Smart Remote app allows an Android or Apple smartphone that's connected to the receiver via Bluetooth to control mode, station, song, volume, and settings without needing to be in the receiver's line of sight. There's even a dedicated front panel push-to-talk voice assistant button to activate the smartphone assistant on a phone connected via Bluetooth This all digital mechless car stereo receiver is designed for today's smartphone user so there is no CD or DVD player.
