Thundercats Thunderwings original LJN 1980’s Concept, Artist Signed. 1:1 Unique

I’ve bought and sold original Thundercats toys for almost 20 years, and this is my last gem to advertise for grabs.

Kevin Mowrer was a lead designer for LJN toys, producing numerous concept arts for the production of things like the Rampagers line and even the Mad Bubbler. I bought this online in an auction over a decade ago. It’s signed and dated by Mowrer, with concept diagram annotations, showing his insight into the workings of the toy line, pre casting.

It’s extremely rare these items pop up for sale, as my understanding is they were primarily for the toy designs and not intended to be saved as ‘art work’. I’ve never seen another online apart from some concept pieces on the ‘Driller’ (picture included).

Due to the age and type of paper used, I’ve never displayed or allowed it to be exposed to direct sun light, as such the colours and lines are still very vivid. It comes from a smoke and pet free home and has a price what I think is fair considering what I paid for it, plus a modest appreciation value.
