This listing is for the Out-Of-Print, EXTREMELY-Rare, Hard-To-Find FIRST EDITION Disney Transport Official Collector Cards trading cards #s 33 and 34 -- Minnie Van Disney's Minnie Van Service was a point-to-point, Cast Member-operated transportation service, powered by Lyft, that began in 2017 and was, sadly, discontinued in 2020 thanks to the pandemic. These cards featured pictures of the two styles of Minnie Vans on the front and factual information about the vehicles on the back. These cards were eventually recalled because Chevrolet Reps working at WDW objected to the use of a non-Chevrolet vehicles being referenced in the dexription on the reverse of the card. The cards were pulled from production and Minnie Van Ride Service Associates were instructed to dispose with any remaining cards. The set was later revised to include ONLY the Traverse style Minnie Van and renumbered as "33 of 33". This Auction is for Both card # 33 and 34 of a 34 piece set. And are considered the Holy Grail of the WDW Transportation Card Set Series. Information Card #33 (of 34) -- The ADA (wheelchair-accessible) style Minnie Van. This card was pulled from production after an objection from Chevrolet, corporate partner of Disney and sponsor, for the use of a non-Chevrolet vehicle in the card set. Card #34 (of 34) -- The Traverse style Minnie Van. This card was pulled from production after the elimination of card #33 (see above) and re-released as Card #33 (of 33). All Minnie Van cards, like the service, have now been discontinued, are no longer being produced, and are quite rare. |
