Original text in good condition, 178+ pages, 39 full color lithograph illustrations. Text is in French, some Chinese notations, there are no inscriptions, no markings, no dog-eared pages, no missing pages, no stains, no foxing, no odors, minor use wear along edges of the covers, visible in the photos. Lithographs are bright, clean, retain strong colors.

We photographed several pages, selected at random, to illustrate the overall condition of the interior of the book. This sale is for Vol X, one book from the original historical series. Vol X is a choice/ favorite book from the series. Page after page has biographical and historical descriptions and notes which are followed by fine quality illustrations.
