This Educational "Do-It-Yourself" Hobby Kit Module includes a complete set of parts to
assemble a Stereo FM Radio Receiver that is based on a HEX3653 IC which is basically
an FM radio chip that can receive modulated FM signals between a frequency range of
76MHz to 108MHz. The Kit is great for the Electronics Enthusiast, Hobbyist or even the
Professional, enabling them to hone their electronic knowledge and skills. It requires
soldering a handful of Trough-Hole components and one (1) Surface Mount Device (SMD)
onto a double-sided printed circuit board (included). The Experience Level of this Kit is
"Medium to High", but it is definitely a "Must-Have Project" for any student of Electronics
to gain additional experience and improve their Soldering Skills while Learning new
electronic fundamentals assembling a Stereo FM Radio Receiver.
If you were to purchase this same kit from China, they do not include assembly instructions.
But we do include a Step-By-Step Instruction Sheet that is written in English, with Illustrations,
and is "Easy to Understand & Follow" because "Our" Instruction Sheet was written and published
right here in the U.S.A. Furthermore, we thoroughly check, and double-check that all the parts
necessary to complete this kit are included in each kit package that we ship out to our customers
to avoid disappointments due to a possible missing part.
This project Kit, with it's complete, but very few set of electronic components, involves parts
such as Resistors,, Capacitors, Diodes, Crystal, Inductor, L.E.D., Mini Switch Button"s, etc.
The buttons allow you to adjust the volume (VOL- and VOL +), search for stations (SEEK-
and SEEK +) while tuning frequencies between 76 and 108 MHz and to switch the device on
or off. It has a 3.5 mm stereo jack socket for listening with headphones and also a pin-strip
connector which allows connection to the Headphone wire to be used as an antenna, or the
connection of a separate external wire or Telescopic Antenna.
