1930s Bar/Brasserie 'VENUS' vintage illuminated sign reputedly from the Swiss city of Biel/Bienne.

Stunning piece in great vintage condition considering spent a large part of its life atop a facia outdoors adorning the establishment it was created for.

Aluminium/perspex lettering on iron frame/support.

Imperfections/oxidation as can expect over time..patina..looks great!

No damage; dents, cracks etc., some imperfections, age related marks etc that can be expected commensurate with item type/age. 

Been professionally rewired with 3 tansformers firing up low voltage fluorescent lights giving a very bright white light. On a Swiss/Italian 3 pin (earthed) plug.
