For those who may be having a problem with them staying on after putting the batteries in.
I too had this and the answer is to prepare the lights for mounting with the sticky pads and stick them up. Then go in to natural daylight and insert the batteries. Be careful you don't cover the front/sensor with your hands and you should find they don't light up after inserting the batteries. If they stay on while in daylight disconnect one battery and they will go out then reconnect. When remounting the lights on their pads do not cover them with your hands. You should now find they work as intended.
