This is made from sturdy card stock to assist you in determining the depth of mirror surfaces on your Morgan Silver dollars

For those of you who don't know me, I am co-author of the "Top 100 Morgan Dollar Varieties: The VAM Keys".  I also teach classes to both collectors and investors on Morgan silver dollars, and am a founding member of the Society of Silver Dollar Collectors (SSDC).  I am a member of the American Numismatic Association and have been a frequent speaker and lecturer on the national coin scene.  

What I am providing is Leroy Van Allen's Morgan Dollar Proof-Like Guide (copyright 1981).  Leroy Van Allan is co-author of "The Comprehensive Catalog and Encyclopedia of Morgan and Peace Dollars", and father of the VAM acronym ("V"an "A"llen-"M"allis).
