ALONSOA MERIDIONALIS “SHELL PINK”, MASK FLOWER

Very pretty tender perennial grown usually as an annual. The floriferous, elegant purple-tinged stems are covered in mass of brilliant salmon-pink flowers with contrasting yellow centres. This beauty is the perfect cut and come again flower that blooms all summer long and well into late autumn, too. Lovely fine textured dark green foliage. Alonsoa “Shell Pink” makes a beautiful bedding plant and also perfect for pots and containers. It will grow in any garden soil in full sun. Flowers as early as 12-14 weeks after sowing. It can be sown in late summer and fall to produce flowering pot plants in winter.
