2 Fold - It folds the mattress almost in half and then the mechanism drops into the sofa.
3 Fold - It folds the mattress into 3rds and then the mechanism drops into the sofa.

We deliver it rolled up,and so it may appear a bit shorter or narrower when you unroll it until it settles.
