Black Tack various lengths, for mounting decoders/speakers/holding wires tidy etc - 19mm width, 1mm thick
Similar to blu-tack but stronger, holds items in place but can be peeled off, non setting, does not dry out like blu-tack. No waste, full length can be used. Like blu-tack, its re-usable. This is my Budget black tack, see my Premium black tack listings here

  • Available in 10cm (0.10m), 20cm (0.20m), 50cm (0.5m), 100cm (1m) and 200cm (2m) lengths - make your selection above.
  • I now offer the option for 1m and 2m lengths to be supplied as 2 x 50cm and 4 x 50cm lengths respectively. These allow for Letter size postage to be used, rather than Large Letter postage and hence a lower price, please use the correct selection above to take advantage of these lower prices.
  • 10cm and 20cm lengths have a peel away strip to protect the surface, all other lengths contain a peel away strip in the centre to enable full length to be used, no waste.
Loads of uses, here are some examples:
  • Mount decoders and hold decoder wires in place in your locomotives and coaches.
  • Fix speakers in place by forming a sealed sound chamber around the edge (no need to use those bulky plastic sound chambers) sound is superb.
  • Use as extra weight in your locomotives and rolling stock - can be easily moulded to suit any cavity.
  • For those who fit smoke generators to steam locomotives it is excellent for holding the smoke generator in place. It has low heat transfer and the generator can be easily removed if a fault occurs.
  • Mount items on your layout such as figures...no need to use superglue! Items can then be easily moved around the layout.
  • Hanging posters, mounting of camera equipment etc, any questions please ask.
