SC/PT2262/2272 is a low-power and low-cost general-purpose codec circuit manufactured by CMOS process. 2262/2272 can have up to 12-bit (A0-A11) tri-state address pins (floating, connected to high level, Connect to low level), any combination can provide 531441 address code, PT2262 can have up to 6 bits (D0-D5) data terminal pins, the set address code and data code are serially output from pin 17, which can be used for wireless remote control transmission circuit.

The suffix distinction of the receiving chip PT2272:
- M jog, transient output, equivalent to the state of the self-reset switch, output high level when receiving a signal, and low level when there is no signal.
- L is latched, it is low when powered on, it receives a signal and outputs a high level and locks it high, and receives a signal again and outputs a low level and locks it low.
- T self-locking, low when powered on, output high level after receiving the signal and lock high, and set other outputs low at the same time.
- As for M4 and M6, it's just a matter of address pins and output pins. M4 is 8 address pins and 4 output pins. M6 is 6 address pins and 6 output pins.
