The Kuhnle AD 8192 is one of the best AD converter ever made.
Since 2003 it is still used by the Emil Berliner Studios for most of
the Deutsche Grammophone productions recorded on location. (Lang Lang,
Patricia Petibon, Giuliano Carmignola, Maurizio Pollini and many
others).
I am the only Italian to own it. In Germany - in
addition to EBS - it can be found in studio 1 of the Institute for Music
and Media at The Robert Schumann Hochschule (conservatory) in Dusseldorf.
Maximum clarity, precision and fidelity. The analog section is very accurate,
like Stagetec, Meitner, Emm Labs, DCS, DAD and Prism.
The unit is equipped with an optional card with n. 8 microphone preamplifiers.
