This is a huge lot of 19 very rare ice fishing tip downs. The first two on the left are extras for either fixing or repair as they are missing most of the parts (on one) and the other needs everything.

These are called tip downs the idea was to build a mound of snow, stick the bottom end into it and add slush/water from the fishing hole to freeze the tip down in place during freezing days. Once in place, the flag is hooked in placed with the concept of a nail and set up similar to that of a mouse trap. The line is rigged the same way as modern day tip ups. The original concept behind this tip down design was derived from Champlain Jack who designed this while fishing for Walleye on Lake Champlain in the Vermont area.

This is a rare find for any ice fishing or regular fishing collector.

They can be restored to a newer condition and are currently in fair condition with wear to the flags and poles themselves from use, age and storage.

I can only post 12 photos but if you want more, I can take additional photos and reply to your message with then.
