A beautiful, original condition, 19th century Mamluk Middle Eastern Tea box.
Made of Brass with Silver and Copper Inlay decorations of Floral & Vine Scrolls,
a fish on the front and Arabic script on the top.
The inside is lined with its original wood interior.
It has all original hardware, with a mechanical, latched locking mechanism.
Condition:
Good Age Related Condition, all original hardware.
Original inner wood lining is missing some trim.
The piece could use a light shine to highlight the silver.
